Vital Signs Team Leader

You will perform as a Signal Processing Algorithm TL, by assisting in the production and updating of existing embedded devices that support our external and internal customers including clinical, verification test, engineering test, service, and operations.
You will build Algorithm and Research Signal Processing architectures, designs and deployment.

You will assist in key aspects of the Vital Signs product development lifecycle including product requirement definition, design, implementation and verification / validation:

  • Create new research and methodology
  • Participate in Signal Processing design, architecture and software implementation for embedded devices
  • Design algorithms
  • Participate in concurrent engineering teams to define workflow, requirements, and design
  • Provide work direction to team members to realize embedded implementations using Embedded C ++
  • Design software architecture and modular software components
  • Provide input to the project schedule and report status against schedule
  • Mentor and coach 3-4 researchers

What You Need

  • MS.c in Engineering/Signal Processing, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • High level of expertise in Matlab/Python – Must
  • 5+ experience in managing SW & Researchers team


  • Prior experience with physiological signals processing like ECG, EEG, PPG – MUST
  • 5+ years of Signal Processing experience
  • 5+ years of software program leadership experience
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Strong analytical skills, including expertise in the modeling and analysis of data
  • Excellent verbal and written documentation and communication skills
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong ability to influence individuals and groups
  • Knowledge of good architectural design methodologies and patterns
  • Prior experience with embedded devices
  • Prior experience with Real-time OS
  • Prior Agile development environment experience
